1. As a medicinal plant, Sophora flavescens has a history of more than 2000 years according to the written records in China. Its main functions are heat clearing, diuresis, insecticidal, dehumidification and other functions, as well as anti-virus, anti-tumor, anti allergy and other functions.
2. In vitro, the high concentration (1:100) of the decoction has inhibitory effect on Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The decoction (8%) has inhibitory effect on some common fungi in vitro.
